Philosophy and approach
Charlotte believes in building strong relationships with her patients to ensure her patients feel understood, comfortable and supported in their journey. Her approach is to promote continued enjoyment of food in a way that meets the patient’s lifestyle and long-term goals. Charlotte’s food-philosophy is that there is nothing off limits but it’s important to find the right balance.
In her spare-time, Charlotte loves being active and is a recent convert to F45-training. She is passionate about cooking and has adapted to cooking simple, yet tasty healthy meals due to her busy lifestyle.
Charlotte has extensive experience in the area of weight-loss surgery having worked closely alongside bariatric surgeons in Melbourne. She is proficient in her management of bowel disorders and food intolerances, receiving regular referrals from both gastroenterologists and GPs. Charlotte has a special interest in weight-loss and her background in psychology has helped her understand the importance in exploring both the nutritional and psychological reasons we make certain food choices.
Charlotte graduated with a Master of Dietetic Practice from La Trobe University. She holds a Graduate Certificate of Human Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science (psychology). Charlotte is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, member of the Dietitians Association of Australia and member of the Australian & New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgery Society.
