Philosophy and approach
Liz believes that it is crucial to provide professional health advice that is realistic to an individuals lifestyle and implementing changes that make a real difference. She prides herself on her commitment to lifelong learning and providing an evidence based approach. Liz also believes it is imperative to improve one’s nutritional knowledge for the sustainable long-term and tailored for an individuals requirements.
Personal life
In her spare time, Liz enjoys travelling to the beach and spending time with family and friends. Keeping fit and healthy has always been her passion where she enjoys yoga, pilates and playing netball. She also loves to spend time in the kitchen, trialling new recipes and posting nutrition tips and photos on social media.
Experience
Liz has extensive experience working within Private Practice, consulting a range of clients with chronic medical conditions, disability (NDIS & TAC) and sustainable weight loss. She also has experience and expertise within food intolerance and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Liz has also gained experience within the sporting field with both AFL & VFL leagues, providing nutrition and dietetic support and service.
Qualifications
Liz is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Accredited Sports Dietitian. She is a member of Dietitians Australia and Sports Dietitians Australia. She holds a Master of Dietetics and Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Sciences from Deakin University and has completed training for Sports Nutrition/Dietetics at Sports Dietitians Australia. She has also undertaken training at Monash University to provide specialist support within the Low Fodmap diet for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
