No, you don’t need a referral to book an appointment with our dietitians. However, if you have one, please email it to info@Nutritionsolutionsvictoria.com.au or bring it along with any relevant test results (such as blood tests or scopes) to your appointment.

If your GP has referred you under an Enhanced Primary Care Plan, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $60.30 per session (up to a maximum of 5 sessions per calendar year).

Private health rebates are also available. Please contact your policy provider for details on rebate amounts and how to make a claim after your appointment.

Your first consultation will take a comprehensive look at you as a whole. We’ll explore your goals, medical history, lifestyle factors, eating habits, food preferences, and any previous nutrition interventions. We’ll also focus on understanding the key behaviours you want to change and how we can make those shifts sustainable.

From there, we’ll identify the most effective, evidence-based strategies to help you reach your goals. I’ll be here to support, motivate, and troubleshoot with you every step of the way as we work together to create lasting, positive changes.

Sustainable change takes time, and the timing of your follow-up appointments will depend on your goals and condition. Typically, your first follow-up will be scheduled 2-3 weeks after your initial consultation, with subsequent appointments usually occurring on a monthly basis. We’ll discuss a personalised follow-up plan during your first appointment.

Initial consultations typically last 60 minutes, and follow-up appointments usually last around 30-45 minutes, depending on your needs.

If you’re self-referred, simply bring yourself!

We sure do! We offer phone and video consultations through COVIU. A link to your session will be sent via SMS and email 48 hours before your appointment. You can choose to complete some or all of your consultations via telehealth—it's entirely up to you.
